After living abroad for a year, I returned to my home country with a pair of fresh eyes. I had never felt such love for it yet. The little things I used to hate, suddenly I longed for. After a year of new experiences coming home to see it exactly as it was when I left, yet I felt different. I had skipped a whole seasonal cycle, how could that be?

When I returned home for a whole summer I felt an urge to document it all visually from landscapes to people in their natural habitat and sonically from thunderstorms to conversations with my friends. This video is the compilation of my Latvian summer, my vasara.
